Kevin Lewis

I’m a Master’s student in Computer Engineering at Cal State Fullerton, with a lifelong passion for games, software, and technology. I completed my undergraduate degree in Computer Science: Computer Game Design at UC Santa Cruz, where I explored the intersection of code and creativity through interactive systems and gameplay design.

After graduating, I spent over two years working in the bowling industry — both as an Operations Supervisor and a pinsetter technician. That hands-on experience gave me a unique appreciation for mechanical systems and real-time problem solving. Bowling became more than just a hobby — it was a competitive outlet and an opportunity to work with physical systems in high-pressure environments.

Now, in grad school, I continue to explore the deeper layers of technology — from hardware and low-level systems to software architecture and creative coding. I’m driven by curiosity, craft, and the challenge of building things that are both functional and fun to use.

Education

Yorba Linda High School(2014-2018)

Completed a well-rounded academic foundation with a strong focus on math and applied technology. Developed early analytical and programming skills through coursework in AP Calculus, Mobile App Development, and Statistical Reasoning in Sports. Also participated in extracurriculars including two years of football, building teamwork, discipline, and leadership both on and off the field.
